REVLITE SI
Now FDA Approved for Melasma
Built on ConBio’s original Q-Switched laser technology, RevLite™ SI is a new-generation Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser. Its multi-wavelength system provides greater efficacy, comfort, versatility, and maximum power (treat a wide range of indications with 60% more power). It works in all skin types.
A complete treatment solution for all skin types is now possible with RevLite.
The treatment is a non-invasive procedure that uses beam of light as high-energy pulse to disintegrate melanin deposits. The revlite laser is applied to remove any kind of scar or discoloration like acne spots, sun tans, age spots, liver marks, sun freckles or even a tattoo. Further, the laser promotes collagen growth underneath the skin. This results in firmer and younger looking skin.
What does it do?
- Epidermal and dermal pigmented lesions: Nevus of Ota, Solar Lentigines The laser light breaks the melanin into micro-particles, removing dark spots, such as discoloured patches and freckles
- Full colour spectrum tattoo removal
- It features 4 wavelengths to target a wide range of colours, including sky blue and green where the laser light gently vibrates and breaks the ink into micro-particles.
- FDA Approved for Melasma
- Skin Rejuvenation
- It gently penetrates the skin to promote new collagen, resulting in a more refreshed appearance, a smooth skin texture, tightening and decreased pore size, and reduced wrinkles, and acne scars.
- Fine, dark, facial vellus hair removal
- Non-ablative skin resurfacing: Acne scar reduction
- Wrinkle/Fine lines reduction: Anti-Aging maintenance
- Fine, dark, facial vellus hair removal
- Melasma (also supported for the treatment of Melasma with peer reviewed clinical article)
RevLite takes high peak power and short pulse duration one step further with proprietary PhotoAcoustic Technology Pulse. PTP creates a unique dispersion of maximum energy that delivers very narrow pulse widths at up to 60% more power for lager spot sizes. This unique nanosecond pulse configuration is applied to dissolve pigments and cause a dual collagen stimulation action, providing both a PhotoAcoustic effect and a subtle photothermal effect. This makes your skin appear pleasantly plump. PTP mode increases patient comfort and is more effective for skin rejuvenation and it is distributed evenly over the skin surface through the epidermal injury.
The principle underlying Revlite concept is that laser wave works only on aberrations and doesn’t affect normal parts. This is why it is important to correctly determine the particular wavelength required to be applied for specific skin discoloration problem.
RevLite SI includes MultiLite Dye Handpieces that extend the laser’s wavelength capabilities. The 585 nm (yellow) and 650 nm (red) wavelength handpieces allow for effective full-color tattoo removal.
For precisely treating small pigmented lesions at very low fluences, the 532Lite Handpiece with spot sizes in continual 0.1 mm increments is also part of the RevLite SI system.
With proprietary PhotoAcoustic Technology PulseTM (PTP), RevLite SI takes power and short pulse duration one step further. Our exclusive PTP is a unique dispersion of energy that delivers very narrow pulse widths at peak power, for efficient removal of unwanted pigment. Clinical studies indicate that the PTP mode offers greater efficacy and increased patient comfort for skin revitalization.
Revlite is a Q-Switched Nd:Yag laser with 1064 nm or 532 nm wavelength that uses non-invasive light energy to gently stimulate skin’s natural collagen. Collagen is the glue that holds the body together. We would literally fall apart without collagen. Collagen in the skin breaks down as we age resulting in wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin. Furthermore, years of sun exposure and other environmental factors result in pigmentation (like freckles, melasma and sun spots), redness, and enlarged pore size.
Revlite is the best way to treat these skin problems and is indeed proven to minimize pores, treat unwanted pigmentation, rejuvenate the skin, and enhance collagen regeneration and is often called as “Laser Facial”. Basically, Revlite Laser stimulates collagen production which reduces fine lines and wrinkles, lessens or improves pore size, evens out skin tone, removes skin pigmentation and regenerates the skin. Revlite laser can also improve acne scarring and skin texture. RevLite improves the appearance of skin by targeting the source of its imperfection and the technology works by delivering a unique combination of laser energies to the skin. The RevLite laser system has received FDA clearance for the treatment of melasma. As doctors and patients will know, melasma can be very difficult to remove. With RevLite’s multiple wavelength technology, melasma is now a treatable condition.
Patients with concerns in tattoos, pore size, skin pigments, skin texture and laxity will benefit from this procedure. Revlite is the gold standard for pigmented lesions which includes melasma and freckles. It is also being used for axillary pigmentation or any similar indication and laser facial to replace the monthly facials to remove blackheads, whiteheads and the like.
Revlite laser treatment can be used to rejuvenate the skin on the face, chest neck, hands and body. Patients of all skin types including tanned and darker skin tones, can be treated with Revlite.
During your Revlite Rejuvenation procedure, a special hand piece is passed over the treatment area, dispensing the focused laser energy deep within the targeted tissues in a brief treatment that takes only about 15to 30 minutes to perform. Facial lines and wrinkles, and discoloration and age damage on the face and other areas of the body, are ideally suited for treatment with the Revlite Rejuvenation procedure. The Revlite system offers gentle treatment of cosmetic issues, achieving results and encouraging the development of the skin’s natural collagen, which softens wrinkles and lines while firming and toning the skin in the treatment area.
The Revlite laser emits light in very short flashes of light called pulses. The impact of the energy from the powerful pulse of light is similar to the snap of a thin rubber band.
There is no downtime associated with the Revlite Rejuvenation treatment, and most individuals can resume their normal activities right after the procedure. After the treatment, the area will feel similar to a slight sunburn. Typically, within a day or so, any discomfort disappears. You may experience some slight, temporary redness right after the procedure, which usually disappears within a few hours to a day after treatment. After the redness clears, the skin is returned to its natural smooth colouring and texture. You can expect to see initial results right after treatment, with continued improvements during the weeks following treatment, as new collagen continues to form in the treatment area.
