Broken Capillaries, Rosacea & Facial Redness Treatment

Many different vascular imperfections can appear on your face, preventing you from looking and feeling your best. Laser or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) vessel treatment gives you one convenient solution to treat them all — quickly and with minimal discomfort and no downtime.

Pulses of light target and erase broken vessels at the surface of your skin without harming surrounding tissue. As a result, you enjoy clearer skin that looks younger and fresher.

At Bella Pelle Cosmetic Clinic, we are proud to utilize the state-of-the-art Icon Aesthetic System (Cynosure’s Icon MaxG IPL) for vascular lesions treatment to minimize vascular skin concerns such as facial redness and facial veins also referred to as thread veins, spider veins, broken capillaries on the face and Rosacea. The treatment is also highly effective for venous lake on lip area, and cherry angiomas on body areas.

Technologies Used

One of the challenges of treating vascular lesions is the inherent variety in the size and depth of the blood vessels. Successfully treating vascular lesions require destruction of these blood vessels while dealing with these challenges.

The MaxG™ Optimized Light™ hand-piece from Cynosure offers an excellent solution with customized features such as Dynamic Spectrum ShiftingSM , dual-band filters and Smooth PulseSM technology – which provide more uniform heating across the entire diameter of larger vessels and increased client comfort. And now the 4mm Small Spot Adaptor accessory is available for treating small vessels on darker skin types.

The MaxG Optimized Light hand-piece offers superior vessel clearance that rivals single-wavelength lasers in performance.

-Plus we provide LED Healite II after the treatment and combination of our medical grade professional cosmeceutical skincare products, Jan Marini Skin Research will also be used to maximize the results.

Before & After

Rosacea (rose-AY-sha) is a common skin disease. It often begins with a tendency to blush or flush more easily than other people. Rosacea is a long-term skin condition that typically affects the face. It results in redness, pimples, swelling, and small and superficial dilated blood vessels. Often the nose, cheeks, and forehead, and chin are most involved.

Light-Based Rosacea Treatment

Light-based rosacea treatment can reduce rosacea redness and “flushing” to reveal clearer, more natural-looking skin in just a few easy treatments, practically pain-free — providing a more permanent result than topical creams.

Light-based rosacea treatment can effectively reduce:

  • Rash, redness, and flushing
  • Acne-like papules, pustules, and patches
  • Rosacea swelling, inflammation, and discomfort

Rosacea treatments use pulses of light to target and treat the blood vessels responsible for the chronic redness that appears on your skin. Once the vessels responsible for the rosacea are treated, the redness and rash can disappear. Best of all, rosacea treatment can provide skin tone improvement by diminishing the appearance of broken blood vessels and acne-like breakouts associated with this common skin condition.

Oral medication and antibiotics for rosacea treatment can have systemic side effects and can take weeks to be effective. Medication-based treatments can also be dangerous for women who are pregnant or nursing. Light-based treatment for rosacea is a targeted remedy that affects only the blood vessels without harming healthy skin, so it may be a good alternative to creams and oral medications.

It also works quickly—sessions may take less than 30 minutes and you may see visible improvement after your very first treatment.
